Compliance with Terms and Conditions
You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions when you submit an Order to Jibija Ung-gwee using the online Order Form.
Ordering Process
You may place an Order through the Website by submitting the electronic Order form on the Website.
By completing and submitting the electronic Order Form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.
Guarantee
We are a small family outback Australian business that values your purchase. We sincerely hope you enjoy your product as much as we have enjoyed making if for you. In the unfortunate occurrence that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase from Jibija Ung-gwee you must contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods. If your concerns cannot be rectified, we will either refund the purchase or provide a store credit for the amount of the purchase price. All returned items need to be in perfect unused condition complete with original packaging and should include a copy of your order form. Should the product not be in original condition, please contact us before returning it as this may void any refund. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer.
We recommend that you return your unwanted items using registered post or trackable courier. We will not be held responsible if returned items are lost in transit.
Limitation of liability
Unless otherwise stated, all artworks and art pieces and jewellery (items) are sold without warranties or representations of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law the liability of Jibija Ung-gwee for the sale of any artwork shall be limited to the sale price of the artwork.
Statutory Guarantees and Warranties to Consumers
Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (“C&C Act”) defines a consumer. Under the C&C Act we are a supplier of either goods or services or both to you, and as a consumer the C&C Act gives you statutory guarantees. Attached to the Standard Terms and Conditions are:-
Schedule 2 of the C&C Act; and those statutory guarantees, all of which are given by us to you if you are a consumer.
If you are a consumer within the meaning of Schedule 2 of the C&C Act of our goods or services then we give you a warranty that at the time of supply of those goods or services to you, if they are defective then:-
We will repair or replace the goods or any part of them that is defective; or Provide again or rectify any services or part of them that are defective; or Wholly or partly recompense you if they are defective, postage will be paid by the purchaser.
Artwork Representation
Jibija Ung-gwee acknowledges that the representations of the pieces of artworks are true and accurate at the time of listing on the website. Individuals may see different representations of colour and tones depending on their internet connections and quality of their monitors. Jibija Ung-gwee endeavours to keep the website and all purchases to a high level and accurate quality. Should there be any discrepancies with the product that is ordered and the product that is received, please contact Jibijba Ung-gwee within 7 days for a resolution to this matter.
Website Services
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and where applicable, are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) for all sales within Australia. We endeavour to ensure that all prices on our website are current.
We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time.
Duties and Taxes
All products on the Jibija Ung-gwee website are gst inclusive. When shipping items overseas, the purchaser is liable for any other duties or taxes payable specific to the country of import. Jibija Ung-gwee is not responsible, nor able to provide estimates for these charges. We recommend you contact your customs office for further information.
Insurance and delivery
At Jibija Ung-gwee we take pride in our workmanship and products, and will do our best to get your purchase to you safely. Purchases will need to provide a Name and street address for delivery.
All items will be posted using Australia Post or a chosen courier service unless other delivery arrangements are made with Jibija Ung-gwee.
Here at Jibija Ung-gwee we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to support our business. As we are in the Australian Outback, we will endeavour to dispatch your purchase at the next available opportunity. We are serviced by Australian Post and other courier services. We ask for your corporation that due to our outback location that some goods may take a little longer in transit than if we are situated in a major capital city. Most purchase should be received in Australia within 7 days.
Products will be sent with tracking and signature required upon delivery.
Insurance
Jibija Ung-gwee takes no further responsibility for the delivery of the order (ie lost or damaged) once we have a receipted proof of postage if no insurance is selected. We take every precaution to package the order carefully and sufficiently however we will not be responsible for any Third Party mishandling of orders. Should you have any issues please contact us to discuss the matter.
Payment methods
Jibija Ung-gwee accepts debit/credit card payments via PayPal as our payment provider and PayPal may obtain further personal information from You. Details of the information PayPal collect is included in their privacy policy, which can be found at the following link: paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full. Artworks are posted once payment has been confirmed. We undertake to take due care with this information; however, in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.
Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Queensland and any claim made by either party against the other which in any way arises out of these terms and conditions will be heard in Queensland and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those Courts.
If any provision in these terms and conditions is invalid under any law the provision will be limited, narrowed, construed or altered as necessary to render it valid but only to the extent necessary to achieve such validity. If necessary the invalid provision will be deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Authentic Art
Jibija Ung-gwee guarantees that all products are 100% authentic Aboriginal art. All items are one off pieces of art and are individually catalogued and recorded by Jibija Ung-gwee. If you require a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity, which details some information about the individual artwork and the artist. Please contact us via phone or email and include the item details that you are requesting.

The information, artwork and art pieces, logo’s, photos, text, data or pictures (collectively “Materials”) contained on this site is subject to copyright. Any use, reproduction or redistribution of the Materials is prohibited without the express written consent of Jibija Ung-gwee.
